2.4 GHz WiFi
When using OpenDNS on a netgear d7000v2 my 2.4 WiFi denies access ?
Smart TV connects via 5GHz band and pc by Ethernet .
Internet access remains for all connected devices outside of the 2.4 band .
Using Googles DNS ( 8888 , 8844 ) allows the devices to access on 2.4 .
what's going on ?

No worries, you are already set for e-mail alerts for this thread, see the "Follow" box above.
What does "2.4 WiFi denies access" mean? Is it that you cannot establish a WLAN (radio wave) connection at all, or don't you get TCP/IP settings obtained via DHCP? What happens if you visit http://welcome.opendns.com/ on a WLAN connected devices? What kind of devices are to be connected via WLAN 2.4-band?
Also, where exactly do you have OpenDNS (or Google Public DNS) configured? You may possibly want to post a screen shot.
