parental controls not working

I am trying to add a website to the blocked list. It does not seem to work. I have tried a couple other websites for the fun of it and it wont block there either. Does anybody have any ideas if there is something wrong with the open dns feature.

 

I have tried using the blocked webites features through my netgear nighthawk router under the security tap. And i have also tried to use the Live Parental Controls as well with no luck.

  I was able to get OpenDNS working again - to do this I had to downgrade firmware and was able to download the old verson from the netgear router page. support advised to be have to be ethernet wired in to the router to do this which meant i had to get an old computer with an ethernet port. but parental control s are working again!!!

  No, rather not, but probably with your configuration.  Whatever, I need more information, because I'm a user too and do not have access to your account.  Copy & paste the complete plain text output of the following diagnostic commands to here:

  nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.
  nslookup whoami.akamai.net.

  Also, tell me what exact instructions you followed when setting this up, and where this "blocked list" exactly is.
