Netgear N750 bypass account using default settings
OK here we go..... using "Netgear's" app/programs, as well as, "THEIR" site I was directed to this site. I REPEAT, I used their stuff n got here. Now that we have that out of the way.
I am trying over n over again to make it so that MY PC(The main PC controlling the Network) has the bypass account. The account has been made but when I TRY to change any settings they either do not take or say I need to log-in to the bypass accounts 1st, which I have already done, both using the genie as well as the site(https://netgear.opendns.com). No matter what I do the changes made to the "Bypass" account, NOTHING sticks or get the log-in message. Now I "DO KNOW" this is NOT Netgear(See beginning of post).
My question is: Has ANYONE else ran into this issue? Again this is a N750 WNDR4300 I am dealing with.
TY VM for ANY "HELP" y'all have. I am at my wits end fighting this issue.

Rotblitz,
Can you please explain what you mean by using OpenDNS Home with Netgear LPC? I think that may be my problem also because when I open the netgear genie desktop software and cliick on the netgear genie bypass account, it says "no bypass account information is found. Go to status screen, and click change custom settings to add a bypass account first." Of course, I have already added the bypass account online. When I follow the instructions, and click on "changed custom settings" it takes me online to netgear.opendns. . . and shows me the bypass account. Yet, I am unable to access some sites that I need to access such as email for yahoo. I have the filtering level for the bypass account set to "low." I have a Nighthawk R7800.

Rotblitz, to answer your question. I am using the Netgear Genie to help control what can be searched for or work on my network. I used links in that to set up the bypass account. I have found that the only way to allow content I need I have to disable the parental controls or use my Tor browser. Will add more later as I have to run out of town.

"by using OpenDNS Home with Netgear LPC?"
This is not what I said. Instead I meant to say that the two services, Netgear LPC and OpenDNS Home, are incompatible, and that you cannot use both at the same time, but either the one or the other.
Especially, ensure that you have no network defined at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/
Your LPC dashboard is only at https://netgear.opendns.com/According to the error messages you get, I think your account must be checked. Open a support ticket, link "Submit a request" above. I as user cannot check your account, only staff can.
As I said, open a support ticket. I as user cannot check your account.
