    You should understand that OpenDNS is a service for networks you own, not for your devices in other networks, be it WiFi or mobile data.  That said...

    Yes, you get an updater app for Android in the Play store, but this may not do what you expect it to do.  It will update the dashboard network with any believable IP address from the network where it operates from, and the related network will no longer be protected by OpenDNS.  Update clients normally do not support network changes, just IP address changes.  This is what they are supposed to do.

    You need to look for another way of protection when using roaming devices outside your home network.  OpenDNS is not the solution then, unless you enforce establishing a VPN connection to your home network.
