Setup didn't work
Hi,
I've configured everything properly, flushed my cache, restarted computers, routers and modems.
Still can't seem to get Open DNS working.
I have a new router that i am using as a replacement to one that was given to me by MyRepublic. I'm not using the Netgear Nighthawk D7000v2.
I followed the really simple instructions but I've had no luck getting it to work.
Here's my nslookup
nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com. 208.67.220.220
Server: 208.67.220.220
Address: 208.67.220.220#53
Non-authoritative answer:
debug.opendns.com text = "server m25.syd"
debug.opendns.com text = "flags 40020 0 50 1800000000000000000039500007E00400014C3"
debug.opendns.com text = "originid 307529380"
debug.opendns.com text = "actype 2"
debug.opendns.com text = "bundle 12221040"
debug.opendns.com text = "source 103.217.166.243:48468"

USER:~ user$ nslookup -type=txt which.opendns.com.
Server: 185.228.168.10

I see that you have 185.228.168.10 (adult-filter-dns.cleanbrowsing.org) configured on the computer, not your router’s IP address and not OpenDNS. Therefore you’re using CleanBrowsing as DNS service, not OpenDNS.
If you configured OpenDNS on the router, configure your computer's network settings to obtain the network details automatically via DHCP from the router.
Also, you didn't post the output of "nslookup whoami.akamai.net.", just the command, but this was not really needed in this case.
