"Cox supports IPv6 in a way that is transparent to the customer experience. For customers with IPv6 capable devices and software, IPv6 will need to be enabled in your home equipment, if it is not enabled by default."
As a COX customer I can confirm that with IPv6 disabled on my RAX80 router my internet connection stops.
Unfortunately the IPv6 DNS addresses provided by OpenDNS do not work on Netgear, Google or possibly any mainstream manufacturer.
The addresses above throw the error below that many people have talked about,
"The Primary DNS Server is not valid; it has to be a global unicast address."
If you know of a router that these IPv6 addresses work on please post it in this thread.
Question: So is my understanding correct that OpenDNS is not ready for mainstream public use because the service is not compatible with ISPs or the hardware manufacturers?
