"Video sharing" category now blocking NetFlix
This only happens on my smart TVs.
I have had time blocks set for a while which block YouTube at certain times of the day by ticking 'Video sharing'. I updated my firmware and the 'Parental controls' was reset. I logged back into to OpenDNS and now NetFlix is blocked at those times.
I unticked 'Video sharing' and Netflix works. I tick (block) 'Video sharing' and NetFlix is blocked.
I can access NetFlix from a browser on my laptop.
What is going on?

I don't have anything else installed. I ticked the OpenDNS stats option when I logged on here to report my problem. What would I have to be running for Open DNS Home to be competing with the NetGear LPC? The thing is if I untick 'video sharing' on LPC then NetFlix works.
The issue is that NetFlix is being blocked by the 'video sharing' category. Something I pointed out at the beginning and you've chosen to ignore.

The results aren't inconsistent. In LPC if I enable block 'Video sharing' then I can't watch Netflix. If I disable block 'video sharing' I can watch netflix. So, NetFlix is being blocked by 'Video sharing' in LPC.
Regarding the 'Open DNS Home'. I went into the dashboard. Added my IP address as 'home' and enabled stats logging. I'm not sure how, as you suggest, this is interfering with LPC. I configured this Open DNS home stats logging option after the problem with LPC 'video sharing' blocking NetFlix started occuring. The logging shows that netflix is being blocked by the 'video sharing' category, I would have thought this was useful diagnostic information.
I did not configure anything else in Open DNS Home, I do not have any clients configured on my network or any other OpenDNS software running other than LPC on my netgear router
This is in the Open DNS Home dashboard

This means now you're using LPC alone. Your LPC dashboard is only at https://netgear.opendns.com/
The categories are managed by OpenDNS. If something still does not work, you have to wait for your ticket to be responded to.
Also, a comment on your whitelist: an entry like netflix.com means and includes this and every subdomain like movies.netflix.com or nccp.netflix.com. No need to list any subdomain then, you can save this.
