Configuring OpenDNS in AWS - Where to apply it

Hi everyone,

I have created an environment within AWS using AWS WorkSpaces for a virtual desktop and it was created with just the standard AWS settings and Microsoft AD for Directory Services (Managed AD).

I have created an account in OpenDNS and linked the two external IP addresses from my AWS environment (Elastic IP addresses) and everything is set up fine. The issue I have is that I can't find out where to set the OpenDNS name servers IP within the environment, so that they resolve the external requests. I have tried the following:

Forwarders within AD/MSoft DNS - Didn't work
VPC DHCP Scope - Didn't work

Does anyone know where the two Open DNS IP addresses need to be set?

  Your best bet is to ask AWS support. Configuring a 3rd party DNS service in AWS is not an OpenDNS issue, but an AWS issue.
