Can't reach bypass acct through Android

I set up opendns time filters, and added a bypass acct. From what I read, you need to open the site from netgear genie to activate it, but Genie says "router is no longer supported, upgrade to Nighthawk". (Nethawk app has no genie bypass option). I've opened DNS directly and can change settings but not bypass through my phone. I tried going into settings> wifi and changing advanced> Static> 208.607 numbers, but that also didn't bypass. Can anyone suggest how to bypass through my phone? (Samsung S9, latest version of android). Thanks.

  The answer to a similar question there (ios vs. Android) said

  "The bypass is per client, e.g. your Windows 10 system, or your mobile device. Unfortunately, Netgear does no longer support enabling/disabling the Live Parental Control bypass on the "new" Nighthawk App."

  So now that it's not part of the app, how can I do it through my phone? I can log into opendns and change all stats directly, but it doesn't let me log in as a bypass account. Please advise. Thanks.

  You post this question in the Netgear community. This software is not OpenDNS’ but Netgear’s. You’ll hardly get an answer here.

  Simple answer. Netgear wants to force Disney Circle down everyone's throats for $$. They'd rather sell an objectively inferior solution than continue to support a great service like OpenDNS in their products. I already asked about it here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/How-do-I-use-my-Netgear-OpenDNS-Bypass-Account-on-my-iPhone/m-p/1901366#M155912

  I encourage more people to speak up about it because it's been like this for years now. Furthermore, if you install an older APK for the Genie app, you can use all of its features fully. Talk about forced obsolescence!
