New member - no dashboard statistics website requests made
Hi - After making DNS changes I was able to block sites and unblock the ones I entered manually. However:
1. for sites that are blocked, like storage, I get the message "Your connection isn't private". I changed the text of the blocked message but it still occurs.
2. I don't see any statistics on the network address. Everything comes zero, despite my going to many sites. I am adding some data you always ask to troubleshoot. Please suggest any changes to config.

1. Install the Cisco root CA.
https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/227987007-Block-Page-Errors-Installing-the-Cisco-Root-CA2. Initially it takes 24+ hours for the stats to appear, later on 1-3 hours.

thanks will do.
I have a follow-up question.
1. I prefer kids not to browse youtube videos. However, majority of our institutions link their videos from their site into youtube. Is there a way to manage a policy that says you can connect to youtube linked from another domain but not when you directly access it.
I am sure the answer is no, just in case, it is possible..
2. Can these CA be installed on routers?
3. I haven't seen stats yet, but is the stats capable of displaying all the websites visited?
-
1. No, but this may be an option:
https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/2279868072. Probably yes, but without effect on your browsers being used. And you want to suppress the browser warnings.
3. Not at all. You see all your DNS traffic, not your web traffic. OpenDNS is a DNS service, not a proxy service.
Btw, ensure that you have enabled stats and logs in your dashboard settings.
