    Not sure if disconnecting from the internet is possible with a Netgear router, but likely not. I suggest you use a timer clock to achieve this.

    My old router was also a Netgear and I was able to go to a calendar and set the times and days that internet was available.  This current set up (that I can find) only lets me choose the level of protection (none, low, moderate, high...) and set times.

    I have kids that want to set up all night long and game, live stream TV.  If I shut off the internet at 10, they can set up and read, stare at the wall...or sleep.

    Yes, I know what you mean. A timer clock to switch off/on the router is the way to go.

    I would like to know this as well. The xbox needs to be turned off but not my wifi ....

    Then connect the xbox to a timer clock and switch it off/on as you want.
