I can't get OpenDNS to work at home.

    You are not using OpenDNS yet.
    Check at http://welcome.opendns.com/

    Post the output of this diagnostic command:
    nslookup -type=txt which.opendns.com. 208.67.222.222

    If this still indicates you are not using OpenDNS, then the culprit is your ISP redirecting your DNS traffic to their own DNS service. You had to call them to opt out from this redirection.

    But it says: I’m not an OpenDNS resolver. So contact your ISP.

    under the stats area, you can also confirm if openDNS is getting any query from your computer. I don't know how often the metrics updates, but certainly by the end of day, you can see if you are hitting openDNS at all.
