OpenDNS stopped working
Hi,
I just realised that OpenDNS isn't blocking websites anymore.
THe IP is correct in the Dashboard so everything seems to be fine.
I've posted some commands below.
Could anyone tell me what my next steps should be?
Thanks
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com. 208.67.220.220
Server: resolver2.opendns.com
Address: 208.67.220.220
opendns.com
primary name server = auth1.opendns.com
responsible mail addr = noc.opendns.com
serial = 1592721205
refresh = 16384 (4 hours 33 mins 4 secs)
retry = 2048 (34 mins 8 secs)
expire = 1048576 (12 days 3 hours 16 mins 16 secs)
default TTL = 2560 (42 mins 40 secs)
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> nslookup whoami.akamai.net
Server: resolver1.opendns.com
Address: 208.67.222.222
Name: whoami.akamai.net
Address: 2001:2040:c001:203::202
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> netsh interface ip show dns
Configuration for interface "Ethernet 2"

208.67.220.220
Register with which suffix: Primary only

But should https://welcome.opendns.com/ show the everything is ok checkmark if that was the case?

Yes, your DNS queries go to OpenDNS, but it doesn’t prove that your dashboard settings are being used. Your IP address must be correctly registered at your dashboard. You said that this is the case.
Btw, showing the checkmark is in contradiction to your command outputs. Did you both on the same device? This should not be possible. So I ran out of ideas.
