OpenDNS does not open websites.  OpenDNS is a recursive DNS service, not a webproxy.

How does this "not opening" look like?  What error message does the phone browser display?

If it displays an OpenDNS block page, visit your blocked domains stats to see what Amazon related domains are being blocked and need to be unblocked or whitelisted.

I'm ignorant when it comes to correct terminology.  I apologize.

    It returns this error message:

    Your Connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.amazon.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards.) Learn More.

    NET: ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

Help improve Chrome security by sending URL's of some pages you visit, limited system information, and some page content to Google. Privacy Policy

I do not know what to do to make this site accessible. Of course, it showed up perfectly fine before I downloaded Open DNS.

The domain www.amazon.com is being blocked by your dashboard settings, and you need to unblock or whitelist it.

A blocked domain for a HTTPS site raises exactly this browser error message.

You cannot download OpenDNS. This is not software, but a service in the cloud. You just can configure it.  I know, terminology.
