Copy & paste the complete plain text output of the following diagnostic commands to here, from the computer where it does not work.

    nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.
    nslookup whoami.akamai.net.

Hi well I sussed out what to to do and immediately got every thing rerouted to Guce. I have stopped OpenDNS on the Modem and the new machine and I get normal service. Something is happening to OpenDNS to preclude use, and I have a niggle that Cisco and verizon etc have a hand in this to prevent you from using open DNS anymore. I have popped the 208 etc in and out of all the computers and the modem and voila, use the 208 then all is Guce, do it back to provider and all works. This smacks as big brother is modifying the web. If I am correct...bastards!

What? What is Guce? Do you mean guce.advertising.com? This has nothing to do with OpenDNS or Cisco, but everything with your ISP and AOL interfering your DNS traffic. Are you using AOL mail and an ad blocker?

No and certainly it only happens if I use OpenDNS. It is the same for all three machines and the modem, So If the computers are set to OpenDNS then all get routed to Guce yahoo etc and edge gets EDGE in red and no access, yet immediately I use get from the supplier all works again, all browsers are the same, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Dogpile yet only if on openDNS. I have scanned my machine(s) yet all come backclean. My modem router is a Belkin, my email is Yahoo, i can though get into portail Orange the ISP browser. Further all browsers seem to act the same!

Yahoo is the other service in charge of guce.advertising.com. As you did not post the command outputs I asked for, I am no able to help any further.

The numbers were and have now been put back to   8   8   4   4  and the both were the same so basically you are intimating that this is a fraud committed by large companies to prevent use of protection by those same large companies. So, how can this be stopped?

Search the internet for “how to get rid of guce.advertising.com”. You will be surprised how many search results you will find.
