IPV6 DNS overlaps my IPV4 DHCP DNS servers
Hi everyone,
I have two routers at home.
One is from my internet provider, and in that router I cannot change IPV6 cofniguration, or default DNS SERVER addresses.
The other one is a personal one, to which I have full access.
SInce I couldn't change DNS adresses on my ProviderRouter, I deactivated DHCP on that server, and activated DHCP on my PersonalRouter, with OPENDNS DNS servers addresses.
So, my client have a configuration such as :
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.184
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254 ->ProviderRouter
DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.240 ->PersonalROuter
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 208.67.222.222
208.67.222.220
It works fine, as long as no one uses IPv6. If one of my clients activates IPv6 :
IPv6 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 2001:8a0:f36b:8d00:cd54:fb16:bbf3:e86f(Preferred)
Temporary IPv6 Address. . . . . . : 2001:8a0:f36b:8d00:64c3:1222:b31e:32f6(Preferred)
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::cd54:fb16:bbf3:e86f%17(Preferred)
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.184
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : fe80::206:91ff:fe8b:249f%17
192.168.1.254
DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.240
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 2001:8a0:f36b:8d00::1
208.67.222.222
208.67.222.220
And WebFiltering doesn't work anymore...
What can I do ?
