Logging DNS requests from apps on AT&T WiFi on Arris BGW210-700
I want to see what apps/websites are being accessed from my home WiFi network, i.e., mobile phones using XYZ app or not (e.g., Tinder).
I have AT&T Fiber service with their Motorola/Arris BGW210-700 router. This router doesn't allow me to change DNS settings. What are my options?
Can I buy to install in between my existing router and the WAN ethernet cable? If I do move the DNS server to OpenDNS, then does anybody know if I will be able to detect if an app like Tinder was used?
Thanks

“What are my options?”
You replace this router, or you place another router between as you said, or you configure OpenDNS on the end user devices.
“does anybody know if I will be able to detect if an app like Tinder was used?”
You will see if domains have been queried which belong to Tinder. A DNS service does not know what has been used, just what domains have been looked up. DNS is the phone book of the internet, not the phone lines.
