    You have two problems.

    Call your ISP to opt out from the DNS redirection they impose on you.

    Use these resolver addresses in your IPv6 settings:
    ::ffff:d043:dedc and ::ffff:d043:dcde

    is there another option I can use besides to opt out from the dns redirection?

    I will try those in my ipv6, I do the same thing as I did for ipv4 dns, but just for my ipv6 correct?

    It seems to have worked for test sites such as welcome.opendns and internetbadguys.com, but as for blocking other sites that fall under the categories of the filter, they are not blocked.

    Definitely not. I have heard from other Comcast customers that this works. This is prerequisite for everything else.

    rotblitz, why do you answer people's questions if you seem to hate doing it so much? It almost seems like you hate the people you "help" as well. I have seen your replies on a number of posts and you are unbearable.

    I know, telling someone to read and follow the explicit and detailed step by step directions is a microagression. Those are generic instructions, and that does not recognize everyone's unique and special snowflakeness. You are supposed to provide detailed, personalized, step by step directions for everyone, including information on what to do with every potential snag, and repeatedly emphasizing the things not to do that are not included in the instructions. You can't even cut and paste them, they have to be written from scratch each time, otherwise it's not personal enough for them. And even referring them to a very recent answer is not acceptable for them. You must repeat it with slightly other words, even multiple times.
