Open DNS not working
Hi, ive been trying to get open dns to work for a long time now, the web site that checks if it's working still comes up with the red x and the test sites like internet bad guys are not blocked. I've set my dns to the correct numbers and tried numberous amount of things from restarting the computer to trying to use dnscrypt.
heres some info from some commands that i saw on another persons forum

is there another option I can use besides to opt out from the dns redirection?
I will try those in my ipv6, I do the same thing as I did for ipv4 dns, but just for my ipv6 correct?
It seems to have worked for test sites such as welcome.opendns and internetbadguys.com, but as for blocking other sites that fall under the categories of the filter, they are not blocked.

I know, telling someone to read and follow the explicit and detailed step by step directions is a microagression. Those are generic instructions, and that does not recognize everyone's unique and special snowflakeness. You are supposed to provide detailed, personalized, step by step directions for everyone, including information on what to do with every potential snag, and repeatedly emphasizing the things not to do that are not included in the instructions. You can't even cut and paste them, they have to be written from scratch each time, otherwise it's not personal enough for them. And even referring them to a very recent answer is not acceptable for them. You must repeat it with slightly other words, even multiple times.
