    Could it be that you are using the wrong dashboard?

    Copy & paste the complete plain text output of the following diagnostic commands to here.

    nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.
    nslookup -type=txt which.opendns.com. 208.67.222.222
    nslookup whoami.akamai.net.

    I have been struggling with OpenDNS and Netgear for the past two months. Can't get either to block certain websites from my kids.

    Below are the text output of the diagnostic command from

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com
    Server: ib-01-lan1.dc7.scz.us.nvidia.com
    Address: 10.126.136.6

    opendns.com
    primary name server = auth1.opendns.com
    responsible mail addr = noc.opendns.com
    serial = 1611111751
    refresh = 16384 (4 hours 33 mins 4 secs)
    retry = 2048 (34 mins 8 secs)
    expire = 1048576 (12 days 3 hours 16 mins 16 secs)
    default TTL = 2560 (42 mins 40 secs)

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>nslookup -type=txt which.opendns.com. 208.67.222.222
    Server: resolver1.opendns.com
    Address: 208.67.222.222

    Non-authoritative answer:
    which.opendns.com text =

    "m33.pao"

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>nslookup whoami.akamai.net
    Server: ib-01-lan1.dc7.scz.us.nvidia.com
    Address: 10.126.136.6

    @aikeedoh

    Currently you don't use OpenDNS or LPC at all, but another DNS service. The first hop is to:

    Server: ib-01-lan1.dc7.scz.us.nvidia.com
    Address: 10.126.136.6

    ...and from there on to an external DNS service.  Check at dnsleaktest.com what DNS service this is.

    It doesn't look that you have a Netgear router, so there is no "Live Parental Controls".  You would have to use OpenDNS Home.  Check at your Nvidia device if you have already configured the OpenDNS resolver addresses there.

    I have same problem.  I don't know how long it has been not working but I encounter same site that we didn't want to see.  When I check the setting at https://netgear.opendns.com/sign_in.php , the setting is moderate.

    It now working at all.  Please help.  My router is only 1 1/2 years old.

    Do I start from https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us?

    Where do I find the complete plain text output?

    It will be helpful if you can upload on YouTube how to do this.  Thank you.

    I connected WNDR3400 which is my old Netgear router so that our home will be protected.

    I changed the setting to "High" for filtering level in the parental controls, but old router doesn't filter either.

    You open a command prompt window or terminal window, enter the commands and execute them. Then copy & paste the complete plain text output from the window to here.

    You do not use OpenDNS, but another DNS service. I do not see what service, because you didn’t post the complete output and just from one command. Try again.

    You are using a DNSv6 service.

    Server: 2001:558:feed::1
    Address: 2001:558:feed::1#53

    Configure your IPv6 settings with DNS server addresses from the following list:
    ::ffff:d043:dedc ::ffff:d043:dcde ::ffff:d043:dede ::ffff:d043:dcdc

    Btw, the third command output is still missing, but I don’t need it anymore.

    I went to System Preference -> Network-> then clicked on "Advanced" box on bottom right.

    Then clicked on "DNS".  Then clicked on + next to IPv4 or IPv6 addresses.

    I pasted ::ffff:d043:dedc ::ffff:d043:dcde ::ffff:d043:dede ::ffff:d043:dcdc in the empty space and saved.  Did I do correctly?

    After I clicked OK, it didn't change anything for parental control.

    Was I supposed to copy ::ffff:d043:dedc then click +. Then copy ::ffff:d043:dcde then click +?

    When I clicked "OK" on the first code(::ffff:d043:dedc), the code changed to ::ffff:208.67.222.220
