eero and Open DNS

I have eero WiFi routers.

Using the eero app, I have set the main eero to use custom domains set to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

The IP address on my opendns dashboard is the same address displayed in the External IP field in my eero app.

Yet the filters don’t work and the test URLs reveal my connection is not configured to use openDNS.

ipconfig/all on a windows pc reveals that the DNS servers point to the eero’s internal IP, not openDNS servers. I have flushed the cache on that pc.

Any ideas?
