How to do only security filtering for one user when others need content filtering?
I set up OpenDNS servers at all customer sites for the default malware, phishing, and ransomware protection. Makes me rest a bit easier.
One small business customer additionally has an ancient "OpenDNS Basic" subscription that provides custom content filtering, blocking certain categories. Works great and exactly what they need for most users.
One user at this customer, however, should have unfiltered access but still have security protection--as if she was using "plain" OpenDNS without an account. I don't want to set her DNS to Google or Cloudflare, losing the security protection.
Does OpenDNS have alternate servers that will ONLY do security filtering, even if the IP where the traffic originates is signed up for content filtering? If not, is there another solution to retain security filtering but bypass content filtering?
Thank you.

Well, hearing and finding no options for setting up a "split configuration" within OpenDNS, I've directed DNS for the "special" user to Quad9. It sounds like Qual9 should block security risks but not do category filtering. Any thoughts or feedback are welcome.
