Unfortunately at this time, we are not able to provide content filtering to users who have configured our IPv6 DNS servers on their router or their computers. Details on how to disable IPv6 are available here here: [How to disable IPv6](https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/227988887-How-to-Disable-IPv6).

If the router does not allow you to specify only IPv4 addresses you will not be able to receive OpenDNS content filtering with the device.

You may want to contact the router manufacturer to see if this IPv6 option can be disabled.

    Configuring IPv6 DNS Settings
Go to Control Panel > System > Network > IPv6 > DNS Server.
Select one of the following options. Option. User Action. Automatically obtain the IP address using DHCP. Select Obtain DNS server address automatically. Manually specify the IP address. Select Use the following DNS server address.
