I have this same question. My router updates noip.com with my IP address. I thought that there was some way to DNS-O-Matic to grab that info, and update OpenDNS. Is that not the case? Is the only way to update the dynamic IP for OpenDNS to run software on a local computer?

Please follow these steps to configure your router:
Step 1: Login to your router via the default gateway address.
Step 2: Enter your router credentials into the login page.
    Device Username Password.
Step 3: Next, locate the Dynamic DNS (DDNS) settings.
Step 4: On the DDNS page, select No-IP as the service provider.

    This may help you,

After one year...yeah you can update Dns-O-Matic in general with a router you just need the correct firmware and configuration to do it. That means get ready to flash your routers with other firmware as DD-wrt openwrt.
