Well I haven't setup any specific blocked sites I've just picked the generic items from the list and hoped for the best lol.

It's not really the blocking I'm here for(mostly), it's the speed. Although I'd love to use the browser on my Xbox and not see a ton of ads and that's what I thought would be blocked when I checked the advertisements box.

That being said, it's not a big deal because I don't use it very often to browse. I use my phone and that has Adguard on it.

Plus if rather read more of the articles, help section and make use of the forums and see if I can figure out what the issue is before resorting to support.

I've only been a member of the service for about 22 hours or so

Hi, I have a similar problem with web content filtering and don't know how to solve it. My DNS status after testing shows that everything works fine, and I use OpenDNS updater to update IP, which also works.
I cleared DNS on my Mac OS, browsing history on Chrome and Brave. And additionally, DNS under chrome://net-internals/#dns.

I have checked Web Content Filtering for Custom with some specific website categories, and I still can access them.

    This is my parameters:

    Server: 208.67.222.222

    Address: 208.67.222.222#53

    Non-authoritative answer:

    debug.opendns.com text = "server r1.wrw1"

    debug.opendns.com text = "flags 20040020 0 70 180000000000000000007950800000000000000"

    debug.opendns.com text = "originid 0"

    debug.opendns.com text = "orgflags 2000000"

    debug.opendns.com text = "actype 0"

    debug.opendns.com text = "source 87.206.204.209:51672"

I hope that someone can help me with that.

    Hello,

Your test results show that the IP address 87.206.204.209 has not been registered with OpenDNS. OpenDNS can only filter networks that have been registered.

This link:  https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/227988127-Configuring-OpenDNS-on-your-Network#Adding_a_Network  shows how to do this.

Hey Reg Ham, I have no idea how I missed that. Everything looked good on the dashboard (green dot), and the status on the OpenDNS updater was marked as OK. I switched to another IP when I changed my contract.

Thank you for your answer. I've updated my IP address (created a new network with new IP), and it looks like everything is now working correctly!

I have no idea what I'm doing. I signed up with opendns 3 days ago and it still says no data as far as webpages or domains visited. Do I need to do something with my router? It's the correct IP address
