Cloudflare and DNSOMATIC
Hello, looking for guidance / support.
I have my domain (call it abcd.com) managed through cloudflare setup as follows:
A @ My WAN IP
CNAME subsite1 abcd.com
CNAME subsite2 abcd.com
Now when I configure DNSOMATIC to update my A record, I keep getting an error saying 'record' not found when I set hostname as abcd.com and domain as abcd.com.
Any ideas as to how I can get DNSOMATIC to update my A record through DNSOMATIC without needing to setup multiple A records for each subsite.
Thanks

I just configured DNS-O-Matic with Cloudflare using that link above.
As of the date of this posting you need to use the GLOBAL API KEY not the API token. Suggest that the OpenDNS team update the html code to state Global API Key instead of API token.
This is quite a significant security flaw given the OpenDNS/Cisco are in the business of security. In the event that your dnsomatic account is breached the cloudflare global key can cause some damage depending on what you host.
