OpenDNSUpdater installer blocked from use on Mac OS 12.3.1
When I try to install the OpenDNSUpdater I get a message on my Mac that says, "OpenDNSUpdater" was blocked from use because it is not fro an identified developer."
I am given the option to "Open Anyway". But it says this overrides the security system.
What is this all about. Is it safe to install the updater?

Hello,
It is safe to install the Dynamic Updater.
If you receive a "Unidentified Developer" message please perform the following steps:
* In the Finder on your Mac, locate the app you want to open. Don’t use Launchpad to do this. Launchpad doesn’t allow you to access the shortcut menu.
* Control-click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu.
* Click Open.
The app is saved as an exception to your security settings, and you can open it in the future by double-clicking it just as you can any registered app.
This is covered in the following Apple kb article: ***https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-a-mac-app-from-an-unidentified-developer-mh40616/mac***
