Can I use my router's DNS resolution settings?
I have a Huawei router and am using OpenDNS with it to block unsafe content across my home network.
My router also has DNS configuration settings to map certain domains to custom IP addresses. I want to know if it is possible to use this alongside OpenDNS. Will it not work while OpenDNS is my DNS server? Or will it disrupt OpenDNS? (I understand that OpenDNS is recursive and not authoritative, but this is not a setting within OpenDNS but within my router – so I assume this should work)
Thanks a lot for your time.

I don't think OpenDNS being recursive should be a problem. You can force map any domain name to any IP if your router has that option. The router will apply those settings after OpenDNS has resolved the domain name, I think. It worked for me when I did it for my old router back in 2017. What do you want to do?
